Sunday Services
Holy Communion
All Saints Holy Communion service - also called the Eucharist or the Lord's Supper - is a central act of Christian worship where the congregation listens to scripture, offers prayers, and receives consecrated bread and wine as the body and blood of Christ. The service typically lasts about an hour and follows a structured, liturgical order rooted in historical prayer books like the Book of Common Prayer.
Holy Communion services are held every week at 7:30 AM at All Saints Menteng, and every two weeks at 9:00 AM at All Saints Menteng and Pondok Indah.
Morning Prayer
All Saints Sunday Morning Prayer service is a traditional liturgical service of scriptural reading, singing, and communal prayers rooted in the historic Book of Common Prayer. Holy Communion is not celebrated during the morning prayer service.
The morning prayer service is held every two weeks at 9:00 AM at All Saints Menteng and Pondok Indah.
Special Services
All Saints is an Anglican church and practices both infant and adult baptism. Normally people need to be part of the regular worshipping congregation if they or their child are to be baptised. We provide preparation for baptism, and usually at least 2 months’ notice is required.
Baptism Services are carried out as part of a usual Sunday Service as the church makes promises at the Baptism to do all we can do to help the person being baptised to grow in their Christian life, that includes helping the child’s parents. Baptism also marks a welcome into the 'Church' which is more than just a building but it is the people of God and baptism is done supported by God’s people.
Baptism
In the case of infant baptism, the Anglican practice is to link this with Confirmation. Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey where those who have been baptised as children make a firm commitment to Christian discipleship for themselves. The public confession of faith is done during a usual church service in the presence of an Anglican Bishop. During the Confirmation Service, the bishop prays individually for each person being Confirmed. Confirmation is a step of entering into membership of the Anglican Church as well.
Confirmation Services occur annually, and Confirmation preparation classes are available, and take about 8 weeks.
Confirmation
All Saints conducts Christian marriage services according to the ceremonies of the Anglican Church. These marriage services are only available to members of All Saints who are residents of Indonesia, and can be held in our Church Building at Menteng. If one or both of the couple belong to another church they should ask their pastor to marry them at that church. If one is an Indonesian citizen and the other is a foreigner they should ask an Indonesian church to marry them.
Also be aware that as we are an English-speaking congregation, so the man and the woman must speak English. Apart from this, both must belong to the Christian religion.

Easter, Lent and Holy Week
The Lent and Easter period, along with Christmas, is an exceptional time to reflect on what God has done for humanity in sending Jesus and the achievements of his death and resurrection in securing our forgiveness, salvation and hope.
All Saints celebrates Holy Week with Special Services on Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter Day, with palm branches. Services are at the usual times of 9 am at All Saints Menteng and 10:30 am at All Saints’ South Jakarta. Palm Sunday commemorates the day, six days before his death that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, with a huge crowd cheering him.
40 days after Jesus came back to life again he went into heaven so that he could be seated at God’s right hand in power – this is what we celebrate on Ascension Day. Ascension Day is the day when Jesus is made by God; the Lord, the ultimate ruler of all space and time; past, present and future.
Ascension Day is always a Thursday and is a public holiday in Indonesia. On Ascension Day All Saints gathers with the other English speaking churches of Jakarta to celebrate together our common Lord and Saviour.
