Marriage at All Saints
All Saints conducts Christian marriage
services according to the ceremonies of the Anglican Church. All Saints is a
church with a ministry to the English speaking community, especially
expatriates.
The following information may help people who are thinking about
asking to be married at All Saints.

Normally the couple being married should be members of
All Saints.

If neither is a member of All Saints

If
one or both of the couple belong to another church they must ask their
pastor to marry them.

If
one is an Indonesian citizen and the other is a foreigner
they must ask an Indonesian church to marry them.

When All Saints conducts the marriage then:

Normally two months notice is required
-
The couple must desire Christian marriage not just a
church wedding.

Both must speak English.

Both must belong to the Christian religion
-
Pre-marriage preparation of the couple together is
required

Registration of the marriage under Indonesian law takes
place with the Catatan Sipil, usually after the church ceremony.

Foreigners must supply a letter from their Embassy saying
that there is no impediment to their proposed marriage.

Marriages are not possible on Sundays.
