As a Church we share, not just in faith but also in finance. We share to help the Church carry out its Christian Ministry
and aid the needy of our outreach projects. Please do add your share in this part of our life together.
Our sole source of income is our members of the present congregations and some past members too.
We don’t get any grants from embassies, or from any dioceses. All our income comes from what our members give.
We keep all gifts confidential.
What do we do with the money we recieve?
Part of the money we receive is for the Church itself. We pay the clergy and staff, there are maintenance costs for the church
and the vicarages, rental for the South Jakarta vicarage and the School hall and Sunday School rooms at Don Bosco, office overheads,
contributions to GAI (Anglican Church in Indonesia), and so on. For many years we have seen the Lord supply our needs
through the generosity of members. Because of the turnover of people in Jakarta we also want to encourage new members to share
in the costs of All Saints.
The other part of our income is spent on the 27 projects in our outreach Ministries.
We finance a Scholarship Program for undergraduate and graduates pursuing theological degrees, we sponsor Christian homes
for rehabilitation, street children or refugees, and we support local Christian organizations that share the gospel all over the archipelago.
How can you give?
Direct transfers and standing orders are our preferred choice. That way you instruct your bank here in Indonesia
or elsewhere to make a regular contribution each week or month or quarter. You can do this by filling in a form at your bank, or,
depending on your bank, via ATM [or the phone banking service]. Internet banking is also an easy option.
Direct transfers and standing orders are the preferred choice for US dollar giving because of the fussiness about the quality of notes
on the part of banks and money changers.
Giving envelopes are also an option. Envelopes are available so that you can plan your giving both to All Saints and to our Outreach Program.
We do not keep a record of envelope givers. They are provided to help you give in a planned and regular way, especially if you
cannot come each week.
The collection is used to give cash. You can give any amount in cash in any currency, although we prefer Rupiah and clean unbent US dollars.
If you want to give by a cheque (check) drawn on your home bank, that’s fine. However, charges for clearing cheques are quite heavy,
so it’s best to give one big cheque not quite so often, rather than frequent cheques for smaller amounts.
