All Saints Sundays Schools

Menteng Sunday School

Our Menteng Sunday School caters for children who have had their 4th Birthday—up to about 12 years. Children begin in church with their parents at 9am and leave after the first part of the service.

At present we have classes for 5-8 year olds, and for 8-12 year olds. Sunday School normally operates in term time.

Classes are conducted in the nearby Sunday School rooms. The teachers are volunteers from the congregation.

South Jakarta Sunday School "Kingdom Kids"

Our South Jakarta Sunday School caters for children from about age 3 through to about age 12. Children begin in church with their parents at 10:30am and leave after the first part of the service. Sunday School operates each Sunday except family service and school holidays.

At present we have classes for three or four different age groups. Classes are conducted in the nearby School rooms. The teachers are volunteers from the congregation.

Youth Groups

Menteng Youth Group

Our Menteng Youth Group meets on Sunday mornings and caters for High School aged young people. Young people begin in church and then leave for the group after the first part of the service. Some Sundays the young people stay in church for the whole Service.

Kingdom Teens

All Saints Kingdom Teens meets regularly on Sundays in South Jakarta from 10:30 a.m. and caters for High School aged young people (12+ year olds).

Admission to Communion

Children can be admitted to Holy Communion before they are confirmed if they have been baptised, if they express a desire to do so, and if their parents and the minister think they are ready. Usually preparation which involves the parents is required. Please speak to one of the ministers at church if you would like to know more.

Confirmation

Confirmation is available for adults or older young people each year when the bishop comes. Normally preparation is done during the first half of the year. If you are interested in Confirmation, please speak to one of the ministers at church.
