Think and Pray for Asia

This week, I represented All Saints Jakarta at the Anglican Church Synod. The Synod is the Parliament of the Anglican Church in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Nepal and Thailand. We at All Saints are part of this church group that operates in these countries.

Just think of how many people that represents......

Just think of what a large number of people groups, cultures and languages that represents......

 Just think of the political and religious tensions that this represents.........

Just think about the sheer size of the land masses and the geographical difficulties that this represents......

Just think about the natural and human disasters this represents.....

Just think about the poverty and the riches that this represents.....

Just think about the opportunities for sharing Christ that this represents....

Just think about the small number of Christians who are in these countries and how the Anglican church can work with these indigenous churches.....

.........Pray for Archbishop John Chew who looks after the Anglican Churches in these countries.

.........Pray for the other churches in these countries.

.........Pray for the lives of Christians in the countries.

.........Pray that people will be taught well by their leaders and these men and women will live Christ honouring lives.

.........Pray for God to work in these countries.

.........Pray for the Lord Jesus to be calling people to follow him.

.........Pray.
